His sire is Le Tot de Semilly and his dam is Venise des Cresles.

Among his most successful offspring are Don VHP Z, Dominator 2000 Z with earnings of €1,356,186, and Vital Chance de la Roque, all of whom have competed at the 1.65m level.

Diamant de Semilly himself has an impressive competition record with 3 wins and 1 placing at the 1.60m level under the French rider Eric Levallois. His victories include the 1st place at the CSI4* 2006 in Liège (BEL) and the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera (ESP), as well as a 3rd place at the CSIO5* 2003 in St. Gallen (SUI) and a 9th place at the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera (ESP). He also claimed the top spot at the CSI3* Grand Prix 2006 in Pioltello (ITA) at the 1.50m level.
