Ten years of GP Success: The evolution of winners (Part II)

Posted on 10 Jun 2025 by Marthe Van Gorp

Grand Prix victories are the crowning glory in international show jumping. But behind every winning combination is a story of breeders, studbooks, sires and riders who have invested years of talent and development. Thanks to Hippomundo's extensive databases, today we can look back at the evolution of GP success through different angles: from the horses themselves to their riders, from the studbooks to the breeders, and not least through the performance of approved stallions and their offspring

Which lines dominate the highest levels? Which studbooks consistently produce winners? And which riders continue to dominate Grand Prix competitions year after year? We delved into the figures and compiled an overview of who has been most successful over the past ten years. In the first part of this article, we looked at riders and sport horses. In this part, we will focus on studbooks, breeders and approved stallions.
