Ranking stallions by their Black Type offspring highlights those stallions whose offspring have performed well in international sport over the last 365 days.
As a reminder, a horse is considered Black Type when it has completed a course (with less than 8 points) at the 1m45 level and higher
HH Messenger creates a surprise just behind Chacco Blue.
Chambertin's son, Chacco Blue, reigns supreme in this ranking. With a Black Type offspring rate of 66.8%, he is the only stallion to exceed the 60% mark for Black Type offspring. Among his current offspring, the most successful include Hello Chadora Lady (HR 136p), Chaccolino (HR 129p), Chacco's Girlstar (HR 121p), all competing in CSI5*.
HH Messenger, Montender's son, surprised everyone by coming in second place. With a total production of 368 representatives aged over four years, including 114 aged over eight years, he has achieved a Black Type competition rate of 57%. His best representative is Mava S (HR 85p), who races under the saddle of German rider Jens Wawrauschek. Born in 2007, HH Messenger's offspring are still young at the highest level.
In third place on the podium is the son of the mare Ratina Z, Comme Il Faut, with 55.4% of his offspring over the age of 8 being blacktypes. The 2024 Paris Olympic champion, Checker 47 (HR 132), is his best representative.
