While there are a variety of stallions whose direct offspring are incredibly successful, other sires perform well when they appear on the mother's side of the pedigree as father of the mother. For the past seven years, the same five stallions have been the best represented damsires in international competitions: Darco, Voltaire, Quidam de Revel, Indoctro and Heartbreaker. In terms of prize money won, one name jumps out. Baloubet du Rouet has been amongst the top three sire of the dams every year since 2015, except this year in 2021, where he currently ranks fourth. Maybe his offspring will still be able to catch up on a place in the podium during these last four weeks of the year.
