For this analysis, we delved into the Hippomundo ranking of clear rounds in international competition. This ranking lists the horses that have achieved the longest series of clear rounds in each height class. From this extensive dataset, we specifically selected 7-year-old show jumpers, an age at which many talented horses take their first steps at a higher international level.
When we compare the top 10 of the 1.30m, 1.35m, and 1.40m classes, a few young horses immediately stand out for their remarkable consistency. At the 1.35m level, Jethro De L'orle stands out for now with a series of 10 consecutive clear rounds. Thia and Excellentia Ct Z also stand out with eight consecutive clear rounds each.
Roy Van Beek dominates 1.30m ranking with two horses
At the 1.30m level, Diva Diamant leads the rankings with eight clear rounds in a row. The Hanoverian mare is ridden by Belgian rider Roy Van Beek, who also occupies second place with the approved stallion Cha-Cha-H, who seems to be following in the footsteps of the top show jumper Halifax van het Kluizebos. Both horses come from the same dam, MoM's Dalida vd Heffinck.
To Me-K Van Kattenheye also lives up to her pedigree with her clear jumping, under the saddle of Germany's Kendra Claricia Brinkop. Her dam, Eloubet van de Doorndonkhoeve, has also produced several top show jumpers.

The progress of some horses within the rankings is also interesting. For example, Ninjo Van T'Ameldonk Z appears in both the 1.30m and 1.40m rankings, indicating that the horse has already successfully made the transition to a higher level. Once again, this is a horse whose pedigree already suggested jumping talent. The dam of this gelding, Moonshine van T Ameldonk Z, is active at 1.55m level under the saddle of Norway's Victoria Gulliksen.
Belgian riders
What is striking in the clear round rankings is that several of these consistent young horses are ridden by Belgian riders, which once again underlines the strong training environment for young show jumpers in Belgium. This is also the case in the 1.35m level, where the top three are all young horses ridden by Belgian riders.
The absolute frontrunner is the 7-year-old SF gelding Jethro De L'orle, who jumped 10 consecutive clear rounds in Oliva under the saddle of Mathieu Guery.
