**TOULON MOVES TO TOP OF SHOW JUMPING SIRES **
It’s been quite the week for Toulon. Toulayna’s recent winning streak, three offspring on the Wellington Nations Cup podium (see Hippolink and now the Belgian-bred is the current leader in Hippomundo’s show jumping sire rankings
See Toulon’s pedigree and family here,* including his full-brother Vancouver d’Auvray on the fourth-placed Brazilian team at the Altech FEI World Equestrian Games in Kentucky (2010).
Toulon, bred by Peet Dieleman, has his own Brazilian connection having won the São Paolo round of the 2007 Global Champions Tour with Hubert Bourdy (FRA).

His top results can be seen in the Palmares link on Toulon’s Hippomundo page, where we also see that his top-earning offspring, headed by Delux Van T&L, a rapidly catching-up Toulayna and Vancouver de Lanlore.

The Heartbreaker son finished off his international career with Italy’s Jonella Ligresti. He stood at various studs around Europe, including a spell at the Swiss National Stud in Avenches before he retired to Luc Tillemans stud in his native Belgium.
Toulon made his first appearance in Hippomundo’s top-10 show jumping sires rankings in 2018 (ninth), then moved to fifth (2019), third (2020), eighth in both 2021 and 2022, fifth (2023) and then last year, his unbroken top-10 run continued with eighth place.
And now he tops the current rankings, ahead of Chacco Blue and Kannan.
