The success of a stallion as a sire is mainly determined by the performance of his offspring. We can assume that every breeder of show jumping horses wishes to breed a +1.45m horse, which we call a "Black Type" horse. Looking at the ranking of stallions with the highest % of Black Type offspring, we see the big names such as Chacco-Blue, Conthargos, Kashmir van Schuttershof, etc. ... at the top, but these are often difficult to obtain or unaffordable...
By using Hippomundo's rankings for stallions, we can search for the future top sires. Today, we interpret t he ranking of stallions with the highest % of Black Type offspring, with a minimum of 10 offspring with a maximum of 8 years old. This gives us an idea of the stallions with offspring that have just passed the young horse category and already have a level of +1.45m; the Black Type level.
