We have spent another great weekend enjoying great competition. The fifth leg on the Longines Global Champions Tour took place in Saint Tropez. There were four-star shows in Gross Viegeln, Bourg-en-Bresse and New York, while there were three-stars in Opglabbeek, Aalborg, Bratislava and Lexington alongside a number of two-star competitions. Let's take a look at this weekend's Grand Prix winners.
The fifth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour took place in Saint Tropez-Ramatuelle.
In a jump-off of 12 riders it was Malin Baryard-Johnsson who ended up claiming victory in this CSI5* GCT Grand Prix. She rode the 13-year-old BWP mare H&M Indiana, a daughter of Kashmir van Schuttershof, bred in Belgium by the partnership between W. Vanderlinden and Turtelboom-Ruys.
Harrie Smolders adds another second place finish to his list of achievements this year. The Dutch rider rode Monaco, a son of Cassini II, bred in Germany by Ralf Lütje. Spencer Smith completed the podium for the USA. He rode Theodore Manciais, also a son of Kashmir van Schuttershof, bred in France by Denis Hubert.

Also in France, there was a four-star competition in Bourg-en-Bresse.
Luxembourger rider Victor Bettendorf took top honours in the CSI4* Grand Prix. He rode the Nonstop-son Mr. Tac, bred in Luxembourg by Edmond Meyers.
Juliette Faligot finished second on home soil riding Arqana de Riverland, a daughter of Cornet Obolensky, bred in France by SCEA Riverland. Faligot's teammate Benoit Cernin completed the podium on Deuxcatsix d'Eglefin, a son of Vigo Cece, bred in France by Claudine Digard.

More four-star action in Germany, at the show in Gross Viegeln.
Another Swedish Grand Prix win this weekend thanks to Irma Karlsson. Aboard Paul Schockemöhle's breeding product Chacconu, by Chacco-Blue, she was the fastest clear in a jump-off of six riders.
South-African rider Alexa Stais finished second riding Crispo R, a son of Casall ASK, bred in Germany by Michael Rüping. Marie Ligges completed the podium on home soil riding homebred Corcovado L, a son of Cornet Obolensky.

Across the Atlantic Ocean, there was more four-star competition in New York.
It was a full US podium led by McLain Ward on HH Azur, a son of Thunder vd Zuuthoeve, bred in Belgium by N. Beaufort.
Katie Dinan finished second on Brego R'n B, a son of Namelus, bred in the Netherlands by Mts. L.H. & H. Mulder-Buiten. Devin Ryan completed the top three on Eddie Blue, a son of VDL Zirocco Blue NOP, bred in the Netherlands by J. Honcoop.

One of two CSIO3* competitions to take place this weekend was held in Bratislava.
It was a Swiss Grand Prix win thanks to Edouard Schmitz on Gamin van 't Naastveldhof, a son of Tannenhof's Chacco Chacco, bred in Belgium by Patrick Thienpont.
Austrian rider Christoph Obernauer finished second on Kleons Renegade, a son of Quintero ASK, bred in Australia by Katrin Kleon. Belgium's Marine Scauflaire completed the podium on the Diamant de Semilly son Hortus d'Hoogpoort, bred in Belgium by Patrick Dalle.

The second CSIO3* show to be held this weekend took place in Aalborg, Denmark.
Constant van Paesschen made it a Belgian Grand Prix win riding Diaz du Thot, a daughter of Ready Boy des Forets, bred in France by Elevage du Thot.
France's Maelle Martin finished second riding Bise des Bardellières, a daughter of Lamm de Fetan, bred in France by Martin Choisne. Her teammate Swan Bourven completed the podium on Vakiry des Saules, a son of Lando, bred in France by Pascal Crochemore.

There was also a three-star competition in Lexington, at the Kentucky Horse Park in the USA.
Another Grand Prix win for one of Paul Schockemöhle's Chacco-Blue products. Argentinian rider Luis Pedro Biraben claimed victory aboard the 12-year-old mare Chacco-Bumpy.
Ireland's Conor Swail finished second on Vital Chance de la Roque, a son of Diamant de Semilly, bred in France by Marie Bourdin. Swail's teammate Shane Sweetnam completed the top three riding Holliewood, a daughter of Nabab de Reve, bred in the Netherlands by E. Baeten.

A German Grand Prix win in Opglabbeek thanks to Michael Jung on Edo Sandra, a daughter of Eldorado vd Zeshoek TN, who makes it the third Grand Prix win for Paul Schockemöhle's breeding products this weekend.
Ireland's Darragh Kenny finished second on Chic Chic, a son of Comme Il Faut, bred in Germany by Norbert Borgmann. Dutch rider Wout-Jan van der Schans completed the podium on A S Bombay, a son of Diamant de Semilly, bred in the UK by Jana Khayat.
